Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might come with the Exynos 5 Octa chip

Samsung has unveiled the Exynos 5 Octa chip at CES month, but they didn’t specify which devices are going to use it. Though some rumors say that it will be first spotted inside the Galaxy Note 3, which means the Galaxy S4 might come with a quad-core Exynos 4 processor.Initially everyone thought that Samsung’s upcoming flagship device, the Galaxy S4 is going to be the first device to feature the Octa 5 processor, though The Korea Times begs to differ. According to them, Chinese makers will start using Samsung chips, which means we might see the Exynos 5 Octa chip inside Huawei and ZTE devices as of this year. This means that the two Chinese manufacturers will get even more competitive and might be able to increase their marketshare

After being asked about the deal with Samsung, Huawei and ZTE confirmed that they were approached by the Korean maker, but didn’t specify what was it about, unfortunately.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is also rumored to sport a 6.3-inch display, which could get the phablet in direct competition with small tablets too. After all there isn’t much of a difference between 6.3 and 7-inch and I believe many will prefer a 2-in-1 device, instead of carrying around both a smartphone and a 7-inch tabletWhile there are a lot of rumors about Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 3 tablet, which is due to be released this summer or even fall, it seems like some Galaxy S4 rumors proved to be false. Most likely it won’t feature Samsung’s new chip, as it was rumored before and it also won’t come with the Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, because it hasn’t even been released.

What’s clear is that the Galaxy Note 3 will come with a much better processor than Galaxy S4 and it will probably feature Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie too. And it’s quite logical, considering that it gets released about 6 months after the Galaxy S4, so it has to come with some improvements.
We should find out more in February, at MWC Barcelona, where Samsung is going to make some cool announcements for sure
